Seriously I am reading "The Encyclopedia of Country Living". It is really thick and pretty interesting. I have been skipping some of the sections, like where it told how to casterate a calf.

Too many books -- !
I am currently reading a murder mystery called "Tall, Dead, & Handsome" by Annie Griffith (or is it Griffin?! -- can't remember). It's her newest. The main characters are sisters Hannah Malloy and Kiki Goldstein, and they always seem to be in the thick of things with murder and mayhem!
After I finish that, it's the newest book by Rhys Bowen; her main character is Constable Evan Evans (Evans The Law), and it's set in a fictitious town in Wales. Murder mystery here, too.
Then finally it's "Mattimeo" by Brian Jacques. As far as I can tell, this is the third book in the Redwall series which I was recently introduced to, and I just love it! My 13 year old nephew Luke and I always talk Redwall when we're together. I guess you can tell I like murder mysteries and whodunits! I always loved watching "Murder, She Wrote" and about 25 years ago it was "Ellery Queen" and the Nancy Drew / Hardy Boys mysteries.
Never enough books!

Oh boy, are you guys in for a list! I work at the library, so I always find things to read when I am checking books in. I am reading The Least Likely Bride right now because I need a romance fix. I also have several books on the American Staffordshire terrier I am re-reading. I own and show an Am Staff, so I need to keep up on the breed. My copy of the Tightwad Gazette is tattered eventhough it's a hardback copy. I read anything i can find on simple living. I always learn something from each of these books.
I also subscribe to Good Old Days, Reminisce, Light and Tasty, Quick Cooking, Sunset, National Geographic and a few more, so I am always reading these too. I learn something new with each issue of Good Old Days. I have done an extensive study of the Great Depression and the home front during World War II, so I like to continue my education this way!

One is the blessings from the other side by silva Brown Love her and best of all it is on tape so my dh the total skeptic is having to endore it also but he did say it was interesting so there is that one. And i am reading the man who couldn't kill enough about jeffrey Dahmer. It is okay. i dont' think i would recomment it to anyone who isn't trying to figure out a serial killer though. I am looking for books that will scare the bejesums out of me any ideas.

Re: books
Have you read much by Dean Koontz? Maybe try "Watchers". I haven't seen the movie, but have heard the book and movie are vastly different.Originally posted by heaven5053

LorisZoo, have you read anything by Ann Rule? I've read all of her books; she's the best true crime author IMO
