Default Author Recommendation - Added another 1

Just finished reading Custard's Last Stand by Tamar Myers. The book was great. Tamar Myers is a mystery writer and this book was set in a bed and breakfast owned by a mennonite lady in the amish area of Pennsylvania. Along with the story are included several amish custard recipes. The B&B owner is the one who solves the mystery. It has a lot of amish/mennonite characters and background. It also have quite a bit of humor. She has written several more similar books and I am going to read The Crepes of Wrath next. If you like mysteries, this is a good one to try.

It sounds like a great book. I will see if my library has a copy of it or any of her other ones. Thanks Pat, I am always on the lookout for a new book or author to read.

Wow, these sound good. I'm always on the lookout for new authors to read, and this looks good even though I don't usually read mysteries. Thanks!

Here is another book that I just finished and loved:

Standing in the Rainbow by Fannie Flagg

This is a wonderful book that spans several decades in a small town's life. It's a great read.
