Thumbs up Movie Review- Panic Room

Starring Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, Jared Leto...

I liked this one alot. It was suspenseful, well written and well acted.

The story line is that "Meg and Sarah" (Mom and Daughter) get a house with a secret room...a panic room to use when there is a natural disaster or home break in. A threesome of theives break in the house and the mom and daughter flee to the panic room. They are safe in there...but also they are trapped as the robbers want something from inside their safe haven.

We all liked this one dispite the gore and foul language (why the have to swear all the time is just beyond me). It kept us all glued to our seats.

I liked this movie too, but it was really borderline for what I can watch. I am extremely sensitive to some types of movies.
I really like Jodie Foster and she was excellent in this movie.

We LOVED this movie. Very suspenseful! Reminded me of when I was a little kid and I was ALWAYS convinced there was a secret room off of my closet...if I could just find the right panel to push!

I liked it too. I love Jodie Foster (except the Silence of the Lamb's movies, those are not my cup of tea) movies. She is such a talented actress.

Actually, this movie annoyed me. I know I'm in the minority here, but I get very aggrevated with movies that are so unrealistic.

I liked it, but I thought it was WAY too predictable. I knew more or less how it would end right away. And...

(STOP READING HERE IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN IT YET- I DON"T WANT TO SPOIL IT FOR ANYONE! )

with the kid having the condition she had, (again, trying not to spoil it for anyone!) you knew right away that was going to be a big factor. I also got very annoyed that there was no food in the room with all those other supplies-- I find it hard to believe it wouldn't have been stocked with some sort of rations!

    Just MHO!

I think it was a good movie...

But realized watching it I don't like this "type" of movie even though you kind of knew what was coming it still kept you on the edge of your seat.. I don't like movies where violence and killing happens, I know I am a big wuss lately but I just don't like to see it..
