This makes me really sad. I liked him a lot, especially for his work on Clifford on PBS.

He seemed to be such a down to earth approachable guy. I remember him from the 3's company days and playing the Reverand on the Waltons. He also used to help out with the cerebralpalsy (sp?)telethons as his brother was afflicted with the disease.
Much too young to die.

That's so sad. He also did a spot on Disney Channel about reading to your kids.

I was stunned to hear the news as well. Evidently, he had some time of heart problem that had went unnoticed. I also found out a bit earlier that Johnny Cash had passed away earlier this morning. He had been in poor health for quite some time.

Yesterday I was watching the Biography network and the show that aired was about him. He talked about how much his family meant to him and they were talking about the upcoming season of his show "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter" I loved that show. He will be missed. I still can't believe I was watching that yesterday and then I get to work and there it was on the news that he passed away unexpectedly last night.
