Default Toddler 'doing well' after nearly 3 weeks alone

After spending nearly three weeks alone and surviving on raw pasta, mustard and ketchup, a 2-year-old Jacksonville, Florida, girl was in good spirits Tuesday morning at a hospital, officials told CNN.
I am glad she is ok. I think someone would have heard her moving around in the apartment, but I guess not.

Thanks Melissa for letting me know about the link. I fixed it so it should work now.

I just think it is so sad how some people mistreat their children.

How sad for the little girl. Good to read though that she was doing well.

Wow. I just don't get it. How could the mom not let anyone know about her baby being alone?

That makes me so angry......... I hope they lock her ( the Mother ) up for a very long time ! The little girl is lucky to have survived such an ordeal.... I'm so happy she going to be OK...... I hope she is turned over to someone who will love and care for her and I hope she will heal emotionally from all of this ......

What a cruel insensitive thing to do! There is no excuse for the mothers actions....NONE! I am so glad the wee girl is doing OK. It makes me so sad to wonder what was going on in her mind as she was left all alone. What a little angel

Let's pray that they take this precious child away from the mom, terminate her rights and let this little girl go to a good home with parents who will love and cherish her!

To be such a low life loser of a mom who when taken into custody on Sept 10th did not bother to mention that she had a young child left at home alone so some sort of care could be given to this youngster is incomprehensible. I don't care what state of mind she was in or what her problem is. No absolutly no excuse.
