Trading Spaces 100 grand
So who is going to watch this one.
I mean it's unbelievable what they can do with the $1000 budget, imagine what they will do with this budget. The possibilities are endless.

Already have it programmed on the TV so I won't forget. I love the regular show, and like you said, they do so much with just one thousand dollars, I can't wait to see them with a big budget! Did you notice that they're using both carpenters, too? Should be a good one!

IT was great wasn't it. I loved it. DH has to work tonight so he made me tape it for him so he can watch it tomorrow night when he gets home or Tuesday when he is off.

I saw the last 15 min because of course I forgot

I really liked both rooms for a change. I couldn't believe how much Lori (Laurie?) spent on the drapery fabric. Did anyone else catch that?

I agree Chelle, $120 a yard for SILK fabric for a family room, and one that has a dog the size of a great dane!

I enjoyed the show even though I was not happy with the choice of designers.~~ Dee ~~

I enjoyed it too. I was pleasantly surprised at the design one of the designers came up with and wouldn't have minded them doing something simular in mine.

Yeah, I would have preferred to see Frank and Vern designing, or Frank and Genevieve (is she still on that show?)Originally posted by SewCrafty

I saw Frank do this tuscan-style kitchen once, and I just loooooved it. I also love to see him do children's rooms.
I don't usually care for Doug's or Lori's designs, but I thought they did okay last night.

Espically since they were 2 of the 3 designers that were on "Trading Spaces: They Hated It"
A lot of time I like Lori's designs although some can be to "out there" for me but Doug, a few times he has surprised me but more times than not I don't like what he does. (Although from the first season I absolutly couldn't not stand that Dez (sp) lady. I would rather have Doug redo one of those my rooms, I wouldn't let her (Dez) redo my closet.

I watched it and it was great!!!....I think the people who got the kitchen /dining/family room makeover got the better deal...the only thing I didn't like were the silver curtains...the other room was absolutly beautiful, but I don't think it was very practical for people with a big dog and kids

I missed it! GRRRRR Oh well.
I usually enjoy Laurie's stuff, more I think because she seems to try to please the home owners.
I love Verns crisp lines though, no clutter in his rooms! I flipped by Oprah last night and he was on there! Although I didn't much care for the "if you can't afford a $20 lamp you don't need a lamp" comment Oprah made.
