Thumbs up I actually had time to read...

This past week has been crazy... my parents were out of town, so my two youngest sisters (ages 14 and 17) stayed with me part of the week and then Maria & I stayed with them during the school week. (DH works nights so it worked out Ok.)

One of the many good things about having them around was that they love to play with the baby... so much that I actually had time to sit and read for the first time in months!

So what did I choose to read... one of the many books on my to-read list? Something deep? Another parenting book?

Nope. I read a silly romance novel, and enjoyed every page of it! I haven't read one of those things in a couple of years now... it was nice to read something that was just pleasant fiction. In the last few years I tend to read more serious books- parenting, biographies, diet books, etc. The romance was a nice change!

Anyone else read anything different from their usual lately?
