Southern Storm by Terri Blackstock is the second book in the series Cape Refuge and again is another well written book by Blackstock.     

I've only just started reading Blackstock's books over the summer months and I've found her to be one of the best Christian authors around.    Her books are usually mystery type books and don't push Christianity.    She just incorporates it in a simple matter within her story.

This story is about Police Chief Cade.   If you have read the first book Cape Refuge, you will remember Chief Cade from that book.    This book is about him, how he is taken hostage and how Blair Owens (again from the first book) doesn't believe the rumors and sets out to find him and a baby that is missing.

If you want a good read, then I'd highly recommend this book, along with the first book in this series Cape Refuge.

Blackstock also has a number of other books I would highly recommend.    You can usually find her books at the public library.
