BOOK REVIEW - Every Fixed Star
Every Fixed Star written by Jane Kirkpatrick is the second book in a 3 part series titled The Tender Ties.
This book is well written and well documented on the life story of Marie Dorian. Its based on her life back in 1814 (a true story).
This book tells about the success and failure of a native woman, whose struggles throughout life make her stronger. New trials confront her on a daily basis and yet she overcomes each one (mostly) and yet, many of her trials aren't answered in this book. It makes you hunger for more of Marie's story. Throughout it all, Marie discovers that inside every challenge is a gift to be treasured.
Although Kirkpatrick is a Christian author, in this book Kirkpatrick mostly tells a story of one woman's journey into accepting herself for who she is.
A wonderful book, which can actually stand alone without having read the first book A Name of Her Own I'm looking forward to the last book in this series.

I got an email from Mrs. Kirkpatrick, before my switch from win2000 that lost me everything.
She is a very personable lady.
I can hardly wait to read this series!
