What are you reading this month?
Or are you finding time to read? No matter the month, I always need to find time to read. Its so just so relaxing and fun.
This month on my reading list is:
Aunt Mary in the Granary by Eileen Comstock
When I Am An Old Woman, I shall Wear Purple
Beneath the Harvest Sky by Tracie Peterson (#2 in a series)
Ruby by Lauraine Snelling (#1 in a series)
These Tangled Threads by Tracie Peterson & Judith Miller (#3 in a series)
I also have 3 small books to finish off by Al Lacy (the end of the civil war series).
I probably won't get all these books read by Christmas, but they are all here from the library until the first part of Jan. so I should get them done by then.
What are you reading this month?

I just finished "A Gracious Plenty" by Sherri Reynolds. It is about a woman who was disfigured by a scalding accident when she was 4. She is the caretaker for a cemetary and although the living citizens of her hometown have little to do with her she develops friendships with the deceased that inhabit the cemetary. It is an interesting read.

Sara, I've read all those books, except the Simple Abundance one.
Each year in January, I re-read anything I can on simple living and inner simplicity. It renews me to continue on my journey and always gives me fresh insight!!

I like the Simple Abundance one. It's a feel good book and I always feel like I am really doing something for me when I read it.
There are of course parts that you have to take or leave, as there are in many books, but overall I like how I feel when I read it.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I just finished reading, "The bell jar" by Sylvia Plath and I am almost finished reading, "Flowers for Algernon," by Daniel Keyes. My next book will probably be, "The Double" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
I am very excited. Tonight on the book Channel, they are playing, "A tree grows in Brooklyn," by Betty Smith. I loved that book and wanted to see the movie. We don't have that channel but my g/f is going to record it for me.

I'm reading:
"Controlling Your Cholesterol for Dummies"
(for DH)
and
"Confessions of an Organized Homemaker" by Denise Schofield. I thought I had read that one before, but I had read something else with a similar title instead.
I also seem to be reading a cardboard three-page book called "Peppy the Puppy" a lot.
Maria is currently facinated by turning the pages in that one, which is better than when she wants to read my books!
