    Exclamation Peter Pan?

I don't have children so was wondering if all of you plan on taking your kids to see this movie.

I remember our discussion on the Harry Potter movies and this one just seems like it would put ideas into childrens heads that they could fly!

I didn't mind the animated version but this one is with real kids.

    What are your thoughts?

I dunno. I always daydreamed I could fly when I was a kid. And seeing plays on stage with "real live" people flying (i didn't know about the wires, etc.) always lent itself to my daydreams. I knew I couldn't fly, but I certaily loved the daydream.

Once again I think it's all about using your imagination. Peterpan has been played with real actors before, most notably Mary Martin as Peter pan.http://www.irondale.org/newsletters/...rodhistory.htm

If you think your child can't understand whats real  & pretend, you can talk to them.
I say enjoy the magic, seems like there is so little of it left.

I agree with Darlene, sometimes we grownups dont give kids enough credit. They can tell imaginary from real all while dreaming. I think that movie will be fun, but I have not seen it yet.

You're right girls, I saw the previews on TV and all I could see was my nephew Andy at about age 7 thinking he could fly!
Now he is 15 and likes motorcycles!

It opens in theaters Christmas day.

I can't wait! I'm going to take my 9 yr old and her best friend. I think it may be too intense for younger kids, but we have a major problem if my 9yr old thinks she can fly..lol..it looks like a really good movie!! As someone else said, our kids don't get to see enough "magic". And I want my dd to experience it as a child as much as possible, thats what being a kid is all about. Especially at Christmas time.
