Question What are you reading right now?

I am just finishing up a historical romance (don't usually read romances; I didn't realize it was a romance until I was already too far interested in it LOL. Now I'm just reading to see what happens, though it's pretty predictable)

I'd love to get some from my library, but they're closed for renovations, so...I need to just find something here LOL

What are you reading? Do you like it?

Self Matters by Dr. Phil - it's good so far! made it all the way to page 13 before I fell asleep last night!

    and also

Essential HTML Fast by Reed & Thomas ~ using it in my auctions!

We had only gone to our Post library once since we'd been here until last Monday & now we've been 3 times in the last 7 days! Katie is a *reader* in a big way - she checked out 2 Mary Higgins Clark books last Monday & by Wednesday morning she was done with both of them! I don't have time to read like that anymore!!

I hope your library's renovations are completed quickly Chelle!!

I'm reading Fat Land by Greg Critser, a real eye opener. Very interesting read. I'm almost finished it.

Still working on Dr. Phil's The Ultimate Weight Solution. Not a bad read either.

Later tonight I'll start on Emma's Gift by Leisha Kelly.

Just finished Faking It and Tell Me Lies by J. Cruise. Both were great reads. Faking It is about art forgeries and is hillarious. She makes the characters so real (I think some of the loonies are in my family LOL). I am going to the library today and think I will get something by Janet Evanovich (probably not spelled right). She writes mysteries and I read Full Speed and liked it.

right now?? this thread. I haven't been doing much reading lately... Except for trying to read the instruction manuals for my crafting. I re-read Chicken Soup For the Soul last week. I love that book. And I read Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man by Tim Allen recently too. I enjoy his comedy and so I have read this book over and over again.

I'm reading "Becoming a Vessel God can Use" by Donna Partow, "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren and older copies of "The Homeschool Digest" along with many cookbooks (I read them like novels). Oh, yes I'm also rereading the Tightwad Gazette and newsletters that I keep in a 3 ring binder alng with older copies of Laine's Letters.

Nothing. I wish I had the time to read but I just don't. I have been too busy doing other things.

You know what I just picked up to read - an old copy that I found of "Counting the Cost" Newsletters & I just happened to pick up the May '99 issue first & read the most incredible article about wonderful gifts for Mother's Day & the one that touched me the most was about a gal whose MIL gives her roses for Mother's Day but in the form of rose bushes! This dear DIL stated that each time she looks at certain rose bushes, they remind her of her DMIL and her gift of thoughtfulness.....

What a nice, touching story.....wonder who could've written something so sweet & special like that?!?! Anyone wanna take credit?!?!

I just finished the Kansas Pioneer Women book (already muddled the name!) I am now reading the Complete Encyclopedia of Coountry living. I am by passing some sections (such as home birth...) But in general I am loving the information.
While clearing out part of my desk I found Sandra Felton's book, how not to be a messie... my next goal is to reread it!

this last week my old Taste of Home mags and annuals.

Learn to Crochet the Easy Way by Maggie Righetti is out on my endtable ready and waiting, but I haven't touched it yet,

and the Bible study I'm teaching is the book and teacher guide for Wilkersons' A Life God Rewards. so that is what I've spent most time in.

I got some new Star Trek fiction at Christmas and I've read some of that too. I'd have to go upstairs for title and author stuff but I've not touched it since the day after Boxing day.

Pat I started Faking It but put it down when we started on our house this summer. I'll have to pick it back up.
Right now I am reading The Reef by Nora Roberts.
