Yes, I've seen it and I recommend it. It stars Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding, Jr. I think it's loosely based on a true story. It takes place in South Carolina in the seventies. Ed Harris is a high school football coach who befriends a "mentally challenged" teenager (Cuba Gooding,Jr.) and allows him to work out with the football team. I won't spoil it for you by giving too many details. If you get a chance, you should see it.

It is most definately a true story and is as close to the truth as you can get. He is still helping out at Dorman high School in Spartanburg SC. His home where he lives with his brother and sil caught fire shortly after Christmas this year and was able to wake them up so they all got out safely. The film company is helping them get into a new home, if they aren't already in it. It is a very inspirational story and goes to show that just because some one is "different" dosen't mean they can't play a major role in people's lives.

I remember when the house burnt down too. Joe and I saw it one the CNN Headline news. That was sad. I'm glad to know that the film company was helping them find a new home.
