Has anyone read We Were the Mulvaneys?
It's an old Oprah pick that a friend gave me a while ago. I'm just getting a chance to read it now, and I can't put it down. I've got about 100 pages or so left.
Have you read it?

I read it, but I didn't like it too much, it took me forever to finish it because I kept getting bored so I would start on another book..lol.
I'm glad you like it though, it's always good to find a book you relly enjoy.

I do find it boring at times too, Angie. I can't put it down because I'm anxious to find out what happens and so I can start a new one.

LOL...I'm glad it wasn't just me. But I always have several books going at once anyway.

I might have to look into it....I could certainly use a long drawn out (to be read "boring at times") book to keep my mind occupied in the next couple of months worth of waiting rooms!
Right now I'm reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom ~ it was a birthday gift from one of my bestest buddies, but I just got it a couple of days ago because she had to read it first!

Michelle
I want to read it, but I couldn't find it anywhere here (Hey Angie, can I borrow yours...lol). I did however see the movie they made of it on Lifetime last year. It was good.

Kathryn, I didn't watch the movie then because I knew I just *had* to read the book first. Now I wish I could see it--hopefully they'll run it again sometime.
If Angie doesn't have her copy any more, you can have mine if you want it
