Have you ever read or heard of this book? I'm getting a copy of it and it sounds really good!

Eats, Shoots & Leaves is a witty, smart, and urbane take on punctuation. In a society of Internet lingo and "txt msging," the author fears that proper grammar is an endangered species. The book is part Brit-lit, part narrative history book and an altogether uproarious treatise on the art of punctuation!

Eats, Shoots & Leaves was already a #1 bestseller in the UK. The author is Lynne Truss, a writer and journalist whose obsession with dots and squiggles has earned her a reputation as Britain's "fairy godmother" of punctuation. While she may be a self-described stickler, she's no stick in the mud. Eats, Shoots & Leaves has broad appeal to people who love to read and have a sense of humor. It's filled with hilarious, edgy and laugh-out-loud examples of how punctuation can completely change the meaning of a sentence. She urges guerilla-warfare-style tactics on misplaced apostrophes, suggests savvy semicolon solutions, and dispels the myth that punctuation is un-sexy.

Eats, Shoots & Leaves is written in a way that is guaranteed to appeal to punctilious purists and casual wordsmiths alike.

I'm thinking this might be a fun one for me to learn proper grammar and my kids also.
