Default Colonial House on tonight and on Oprah today

It is on PBS stations, but not all of them. Happy to say it is on mine.

Monday and Tuesday this week and Monday and Tuesday next week. From 8pm to 10 pm EST.

Who is planning on watching it?

I am! I can't wait to see this show. I've really enjoyed all of the PBS shows about going back and living in specific periods of history. My favorite so far has been Frontier House.

So what did everyone think of the first episode last night? We had company and I missed the first 10 minutes or so but I got to finish watching the rest of it. It was a good show I thought but not as interesting to me anyway as Frontier house. I will definitely watch the rest of it.

I agree. It was not near as interesting as frontier house. It seems all we see them do is sit around and talk. I want to see some of the skills that were used back then. If this is the way real colonials acted then there would be no way they would have survived.

I agree with you ladies. I really wanted to see more of the skills that they would have had to use to survive. I was amazed at how lazy some of the people were.

I was very disappointed with the show. A one time chance to see people live in that time period, then they complain they don't want to follow the rules.

I was disapointed over all. Mannor House I thought was the best one. Followed closely by Frontier House.
