    Default Bookclub: Eat Cake

How did you guys like the book? I really loved how easy it was to read. It was light reading and so funny to me in parts. I found the characters just came to life. It flowed really smoothly for most of the book for me.

Plus, it made me want to bake cake. Really bad!

I agree with all you've said--and I am glad that I read it BEFORE I started my diet!

There were a couple of things that I didn't like, but I don't want to give anything away.

I really liked it even though it wasn't my usual type of reading material. I too found some parts funny and I seemed to get caught up in Ruth's whole cake making thing, could imagine myself right there in her kitchen!

I really wanted to eat some of that cake - any cake. Liked the book in general and was pleased with it.
