Question Do you watch soap operas?

Do you watch soap operas?  Have you watched them for a long time or are you a new viewer?  Which ones do you watch?  Do you watch the same ones that your Mother watched?

I watch Days of our Lives and All My Children.  I have watched DOOL my entire life, my Grandmother and my Mother both watched it and it was a natural progression for me to watch .  I started watching All My Children when my oldest son was a a baby and I have watched it on and off for 20 years.  Now that the Soap.net channel has them both on cable in the evenings I am watching more faithfully.

I used to watch General Hospital but stopped when it got too wacky(like they all are so life imitating ) and somebody was going to freeze Port Charles, lol.

I watch Guiding Light and General Hospital. It's the only ones I get over here.

When I was home I watched Y&R and Days of Our Lives. My grandparents have watched Days forever. My grandpa keeps me updated! LOL

When Francois was a baby I discovered and watched General Hospital. I watched it a few years, but stopped many years ago...

Yes, I noticed that General hospital is not at all like it used to be...

We lead such hum drum lives compared to these soap people. Take Brooke on Bold & the Beautiful...She's married all the older males in the Forresters family~ dad & 2 sons numerous times. All her children are confused as to who's their father, brother, uncle, cousin etc. What a bunch of wackos

They are a hoot! I talk to the TV & laugh my butt off watching them. My favs are the evil female actors & the ones that just make me laugh.

I watch As The World Turns every now and then. I don't think they've had a good storyline for a while. JMHO.

I started off watching all the CBS soaps and Passions on NBC and Port Charles on ABC. Then we got satellite and couldn't get local stations so I started watching the ABC soaps on SoapNet everynight. Now, since we get CBS again I am catching up on those (after almost a 3 year absense) and I still watch the ABC soaps and DOOL on SoapNet when I get a chance (Usually the week long marathons on Sat & Sun.). As for Passions, if I am home I still flip back in forth between that and ATWT.

I watch Young and the Restless and Guiding Light. I tape both of them and fast forward to the good parts!!! I got hooked when I was home sick for a week, that was about 10 years ago.

I usually try to plan lunchtime so I can eat while watching Days of Our Lives (if I'm really lucky this is also DD's nap time). I watch Passion, which comes on after Days, on/off while doing other things around the house.
