Default Has anyone watched any of Colonial House?

We watched the first night here and plan on watching tonight too. I think those people have some interesting reasons to have gone there and I'm not sure they have done it as it would have been done then. I'll have to see if it gets better tonight.

We have watched for 2 nights now and I think it's really interesting how our 21st century values are affecting trying to recreate living in the 1600's.

I watched the first night and last night too. I have ta tell ya, I wasn't too impressed by this group! The very first night they started the "whinning". I don't think that the first settlers did as much crying as this group.

They aren't much for rules either, are they? Like the woman and man who refused to go to the church services. DUH! Isn't this why they settled here? Religious freedom? Well, maybe they thought that included "no religion"?

I watched and was unimpressed. I think it's a fabulous concept, but the people have to buy into it. These people are just acting like they are dressed in old clothes, but living 21st century lives. It reminded me of regular reality tv, like Big Brother, or something. Like, the guy that just left and went into town for two days to have chips and beer? Come on. Great show, wrong group of people participating.

I agree, won't be tuning in anymore to this show.
