I feel sorry for Shawn and can't wait to see what happens when everyone learns that he's NOT the father of Jan's baby. Part of me, though, wants to shake him and tell him to tell at least ONE person the truth about what he's doing for Jan.

I have watched Days ever since I was a little girl. My mom watched it growin up as well. We feel like the Bradys and the Hortons are our family.

I don't really feel sorry for Shawn. I wish I could smack him and tell him to just tell the truth!

Can you believe the thing with Bell and Jan--how many of you think she will stand trial for the baby dying? I can't believe it will end so suddenly.

Okay, I haven't been able to watch Days lately, today is the first in about a week or two, so what about the baby dying??? I am confused. Who may stand trial for the death of him/her? And, how did the baby die?

I just started watching Days again last Friday after several weeks of not watching so I'm trying to figure out what's going on.

How did Jennifer and Brandon end up in Vegas?

I missed the first half of today's show, but was surprised to see that Greta's last day on the show is Friday.

I also remember reading a few weeks ago that they wrote Austin out of the show. Can anyone fill me in on that?

As for Jan's baby dying - Jan is staying with Bo and Hope (I don't know how that came about - I wasn't watching then) and she fell down the stairs. Bo came home and found her and took her to the hospital - she ended up losing the baby. However, before that happened Belle had been there and she and Jan argued and apparantly Belle hit Jan and made her fall (please tell me if I'm wrong - I was distracted while this was on the air).

Kahana--Jennifer and Brandon were in Vegas for Sammi's wedding.

Austin left for New York to work for Perma-Lash (IRL he left because he wanted to pursue other interests).

Ok - so Sammi and Austin got married? Is Sammi remaining on the show? How is that whole story line working?

Bell and Jan: Jan and Bell argued, during which Jan attacked Bell (thus the scratches on Bells face) Bell moved to get away from Jan during the attack and Jan fell to the floor. Bell tried to see if she was ok but Jan made her leave. Later the same day while alone in the house Jan tripped and fell down the stairs, this is what killed the baby, not Bell.

Sammy and Austin: Austin found out about all of Sammys lies and left her, almost at the altar. It was a two day event, find the tape if you want some laughs at Sammys expense.

Oh, and what about Chole. How sick do you think she will be?? I think it will be something that she will need her father for and we will finally know who he is. What ya'll think??

I think Chloe will have leukemia, and yes, I agree that we will need to find out her father. I am happy that we will--after two years I think it's time! I think they tend to focus more on the teens during the summer than the other story lines (like last year's island drama) because that's when the teen watchers are on summer vacation and will tune in.

Thanks Snowangel for the re-cap about Belle and Jan. I had missed that one.

Kahana, Austin heard Sammi admit to Lucas that she knew that he never hit will (Sammi and Lucas were having a heated argument, and Austin happened to walk in). I was thrilled that Austin told her off (though I really like Sammi as a character), but ya know what? The way they made him tell her off just wasn't the same as his usual temperment even when really angry. The writers needed to write him off the show, and I guess this was the best way to do it, but the Austin that has been on the show for a while now would never have "freaked" like they had him do. (even though I think he had every right to, I think this was a flaw in the writer's story line).

Ssshhhh....do you girls wanna hear something funny? My husband is addicted to Days and I am.... . He is self employed but sometimes at lunch can't come home due to having a customer or something. He'll call and say "I can't make it for lunch, record"! Isn't that a hoot?! So anytime I'm not home he records for me and we watch it together. We laugh about how pathetic we are and what low self esteem we must truly have to be so tied to this stupid, stupid show. But we love it! I just had to share that with all of y'all.

I read in the check out lane in some soap opera digest a teaser about Billy Reed (the original one) coming back and it said something about will Billy break Bo and Hope up? Gee I hope not! Anyone else? But it would make for the perfect out for Hope to take a leave of absence when the actresses' baby is born...she IS pregnant, isn't she? I've been noticing that they only do the waist up shots on her or she's holding something or standing behind something or something.......Does anyone know for sure?

Yeah!!! Shawn *finally* told Belle that he never slept with Jan and that she was really raped. They're finally back together.

I was so happy to see that.

On a sad note, though, Chloe does have leukemia

I wish she would just have a happy story line for a bit.

So glad that you posted this update. I was too ill when the soap came on this week and missed the last three days. I was wondering what had happened at the "last blast". Thanks again for the update!
