Thumbs down Oprah's new magazine - O at Home

I'm a big fan of Oprah and I've enjoyed her magazine "O". I don't purchase it but read it any chance I get when I find it at the library.

Oprah has another magazine that just came out, called O at Home. I decided to purchase it last night and thank goodness it only cost me $4.68 at Superstore, because it isn't worth much more. I was very disappointed in it.

Some of the decorating in it is so unrealastic for common everyday folk. The only good thing about the magazine is Nate Berkus is in it. But the decorating job that he did for this magazine was also on the Oprah show a few weeks ago.

I won't be purchasing this magazine again.

Has anyone else purchased it or read it at the public library. Any thoughts on it?

I have not read it yet. I think I'll wait to see it at the library and not purchase it.

I debated purchasing it when I was at Costco last weekend! I flipped through it briefly, I was interested in the children's bedrooms if I recall.

That apt. redo......may have been Nate's ....just didn't do anything for me so I decided to wait and look for it at the library.

I will look at the next issue and see if anything catches my eye.

It was just too much of the same for my liking!

I am glad you confirmed my hunch and that I saved my money!

I didn't like it very much either. Everything was too expensive.

Hey, on second thought those pictures of Nate could just make it worth spending the $4.68!!!! I hadn't thought of it that way!
