    Default going to see Patti Labelle tonight **UPDATE at bottom**

    at Trump 29 Casino near Palm Springs. I am going with some girls from work as a birthday gif. My birthday is Monday, so I am getting a headstart on the fun.

    I know other people who have been to her concerts and they say she puts on a VERY entertaining show.

    Wow, I am not even sure how to post so that you could possible understand what a shwo she put on~!

    She is by far the most enthusiastic entertainer I have ever gone to see. She is recently divorced and her new album is all about being okay. I will definately be buying this one when I get some extra cash in hand. Those songs literaaly made me cry, they are like an anthem for those of us struggling with divorce and re-figuring life when all the rules change in the middle of the game.

    She came back for an encore song after the prople just wouldn't leave and were calling her name. She sang the Lord's Prayer like I have never heard it sung before...Patti style. I would go to another of her concerts without hesitation. It was wonderful.
