Default When not reading a book...

do you find you spend way too much time watching t.v.? I feel so much more productive when I am reading. That just seems to be a more productive way to spend time.
    Thoughts?

I prefer reading to watching TV any day!!

My TV could take a hike & I wouldn't mind!

Unfortunately, when I have blocks of time (or even when I don't have blocks of time!) I'm here....I justify it saying I'm learning so much here!! Like just last night for instance - I was the first in my home to know who the new American Idol was!

See - that's quality learnin' there!

I prefer reading, listening to music and using my computer to watching TV but I do like to watch a few things here and there!

I'm really terrible because the tv goes on as soon as we get up and doesn't go off until we go to bed. Even if I have a book to read the tv is still on.

I'd pick reading anytime over TV. I'm not a tv person and we seldom have tv on. Our whole family are readers.

I haven't read a book in ages! But, even if Jack has the TV on, I rarely sit down to watch anything until after 7pm, I'm usually busy doing something.
