Koala Bears Facing Extinction

I've always thought these were the cutest little animals. I use to have a few stuffed animals of them and alway's wondered why mom and dad wouldn't get me a real one. I also did a report on them when we were studing Australia when I was in HS.

I hope they are able to keep them around a lot longer than 15 years. I knew they were endangered animals, but until I saw this article today, I had no idea they were slowing disappearing.

Yes it's very sad Kat, thankfully there are breeding programs in wildlife parks and zoos. I had my photo taken with one several years ago at a wildlife park near us, they are so soft and cuddly!

I too have always loved them. I often wished that I could go to Australia so that I could hold one. They look so sweet and cuddly. I hope that they can do something to keep them around. It would be such a shame if they disappear
