Adult PBS Show Question

Do you know if PBS ever re-runs any of their shows? They had a show on a few years ago that I LOVED called "The Farmers Wife." It was about this family in Nebraska who lived on a farm and faced all of these hardships over a few year period. It was so different from my life and I think that's why I loved it. I know they probably sell it, but I don't want to spend the money it would cost because it was a looooong mini-series.

I found it for $50 online. I'll keep looking!

There was a link on that sight to write and purchase a copy for schools, libraries or other educational institutions but I don't recall seeing a price.

Check with your library. They may be able to either purchase it for their own collection or order in through interlibrary loan. I know that our library carries it and I have borrowed it numerous times. I really enjoyed the series and how they got through hard times and she pursued her dreams.

Deb...I found an update online. They wound up getting divorced, but both live in the same town. He's still farming and she's still working full-time.

I did not see it but it sounds like a great show. I am going to check our library and see if they might have a copy of it.
