Question Have you ever become "addicted" to an author?

Have you ever really enjoyed an author's books so much that you just keep reading anything by them that you can get your hands on?

That's how I've been recently with Elizabeth Berg. She's my new favorite author, and I've read at least 4 of her books this year.

Francine Rivers. I had never read any of her books up until a few months ago. Now I've reading them all before I read anything else.

Thats an interesting question Michelle, because I find myself doing more and more of that. When I read a good book, then I need to find all the books that author has written and read them all. Over the past year, I've done that a number of times.

Steven King here too (Debbie, my Gram lives a few blocks from him. When I lived with my Mom, we lived a block or two away from his house)

Joanna Lindsey, Virginia Henley, and Julie Garwood. Loved those steamy books. Haven't read one in a long time.

I do. I have read all of Anne Rice's books. I'm reading all of Tim LaHaye's and Jerry B. Jenkins too when I can find stuff.

Wow! That's something, Melissa! Pierre loves his books! Tell me, have you met him or spoken to him?

You know, I realize that I have never really read alot of fiction books...the year I was 21 and working at the hospital, I bought one or two books from Mary Higgins Clark. I tried hard to stay captivated, but I seem to have a hard time to read fiction books, either suspense, I even tried romance (Danielle Steel)...I just can't stay concentrated on the book....

The books I like to read are funny books, like Erma Bombeck, I read a few of her books. Boy did I laugh alot on my way to school in college, in the metro....The people around me must of thought I was crazy....lol

Today, I am passionate about reading simple living books, frugal books, *how to* books, pyschology books or spiritual books.

Currently addicted to Laurell K. Hamilton. I have read everything I have been able to get my hands on at the bookstore... even have my sister reading them.

Others I am addicted to are Norah Hess, Teresa Mederios and Leigh Greenwood.

LaVyrle Spencer , Mary Higgins Clark, Sandra Brown, Linda Howard Brown.

I used to read a lot of Steven King, but he's not been the same since his accident- I gave up on him.

I like Dean Koonz, but not addicted.

I was addicted to the Left Behind Series , but not to the authors. Most of their other stuff is rather bland.

OH! I know. . . . Frank Perretti (sp?) I love his books.

I love Mary Higgins Clark and LaVyrle Spencer and Fern Michaels. Fern's vegas series is very good. I reread them once in awhile.
