    Default Holes

I checked this Disney movie out at the Library. It's very good. Boys would probably like it better than girls. The main character in the movie, Stanley Yelnats is falsely accused of stealing a pair of tenny shoes being auctioned that were formerly owned by a famous basketball. Stanley is sent to a "camp" where all the young misfit boys just dig holes each day in the hot desert supposely to build character but that is just the ruse of the warden who has an ulterior motive for the boys digging holes. This is a very entertaining movie and I don't want to give too much of the plot away and spoil it for you.

It sounds very cute. I had heard of the movie, but missed any previews or reviews. Thank you.

My oldest dd's class did a report on the book last year and then went to see the movie at the theatre. She wanted the DVD for Christmas but I haven't watched it.I'll put that on my to see list

My daughter is 12 and she loved that movie! She watches movies over again and again. I had someone video tape it for her when it was on cable tv.
