Famous "Scream" painting stolen...

The race was on a commercial so I was checking the news and saw this.

It's such a popular painting I hope they are able to recover it.

I just heard that on the radio. Its the second "Scream" painting of that artist to be stolen. The last one was stolen in 94 I think they said.

OK, I know I don't have a criminal mind, but if you steal one of the most famous paintings in the world, what can you do with it? I know, someone somewhere will pay you a lot of money for it, but what do THEY do with it? It's not like you can hang it in your livingroom and admire it- it's obviously stolen property and likely to be spotted eventually. And surely you wouldn't pay a zillion dollars for a famous painting that you have to hide and can't enjoy. I guess I just don't get it!
