restaurant for cats opens
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...u=/ap/cat_cafe
Dressed in a tuxedo, Simba sat at the front of one of Manhattan's newest dining establishments and nodded at people who greeted him. Then he yawned, began to roll on the floor and lick his paws. That's acceptable behavior at the Meow Mix Cafe, a new eatery designed especially for cats and their human owners. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Discrimination! What about fish or birds or iguanas or bunnies or potbellied pigs or hedgehogs or ferrets or rodents...

I know this is all in good fun.... but I just can't help but wonder.... what must the poor countries of the world think of the US when they hear about this kind of thing? They don't have enough food to provide for their humans, and here in the US we apparently have so much money that we have nothing better to do with it than open a silly restaurant for our pets.
Sorry.... Ugh... like I said, I'm tired, pardon my attitude.

Don't apologise for your opinion, you are entitled to it the same as we all are. I was looking at the funny side of this and not the serious side. You are right! I personally don't care what other countries think about us as a nation. I do know there are a lot of Americans that are living on the streets, mothers and thier children in particular that go hungry every day. Or our very own soldiers families that can't make it from payday to payday and they are defending us, that is just WRONG for a world power such as we are.
Okay off my
now.
