Question Who watched Dr Phil Primetime?

I did.  I enjoyed it, but I think most of the people he featured were people who really knew what they needed to do, but just needed a figurative swift kick in the pants to do it.   Of course, I think that's the case with many people on his regular show, too-- they just need someone to push them to do the right thing.

I couldn't belive the woman who let her preschooler watch nine hours of tv a day- did you notice that the child even had a tv in his bedroom?!      It didn't take a psychologist to figure out that she needed to turn the tv off!

I wasn't able to, but I do like the idea that he wants to bring families together again.

Has anyone bought his new book? The cost here is $37.50 - YIKES!!! I think I'll wait until it comes to the library.

I would like to read the book, too, but I'll wait until it comes out in paperback!

I saw it, and I must say that I really enjoy/like his advice for adults. Not sure about his children advice though. I'd like to take a look at his new book though.

What I do like is the traditions his family made and how he says they are so important in family life.

It's only $17.68 on Amazon. Do they ship to Canada?

I'm still going to see if my library has it before buying, but that's a lot better than $37.50.

It was checked out of our library (no surprise there! LOL), but I put in a request for it. Hopefully I'll be able to get it from a nearby library soon!
