Question Wife Swap and Desperate Housewives..

Have any of you watched either of these shows??? What do you think of them?? I have watched them both and Wife Swap is kind of mind jarring to me. Some people can be so NOT typical, and do the "wife" thing, and some men realize how aweful they can be. For Desperate Housewives--Oh My.. It seems interesting, start with a death, and mystery to figure out for the season.. Just curious if any of you have seen either of them..TIA

We were going to watch Desperate Housewifes but we didn't. I can't remember what we did instead.

I've caught parts of all the Wife Swap shows. Some of them are pretty funny.

Good. We really did plan on watching it and by the time I remembered it was off. I figured it would be re-ran since that did that with LOST this season too, I just never got around to checking the abc website to see when.

    Thanks for letting us know.

We get a kick out of Wife Swap. Man they just try to get the most opposite ends of the dysfunctional rainbow of wives/husbands to swap with.....I sometimes feel sorry for them. But then think....nawwww.

Did you all see Wife Swap last night? I'm sorry but that one woman who was the animal activist was just a huge lazy wacked out slob. Everything in her world revolved around her. I really felt bad for her husband and child since they had no structure in their lives. The house was disgusting with all that dirt, dishes everywhere and those cigarette butts overflowing the ashtry. YUCK!!!!!

I saw parts of desperate housewives and didn't follow. I suppose i should have sat still and watched it, but dh and I were swiitching the kids rooms around.

I watched Wife Swap last night, and all I could say was what a total freak that woman was. Did you see how she freaked out when she found out that her dogs were not in the house. I can't see how anyone can only clean the house 1 time a year. The laundry was horrible, and the kitchen totally gross. I laughed so hard when she was cleaning the house and broke down crying and say it is not fair that someone is living her fun life. Her husband deserves her.

I watched Desperate Housewives the first episode. Thought it was a good show.

I missed Desperate Housewives and will try to watch on Saturday.

I saw one episode of Wife Swap and was appalled at the husband. It was the one where the lady who drives a bus and chops wood went to the Manhattan apartment and dismissed the nannies. The Manhattan husband was such an a$$hole. Excuse my language but I was absolutely shocked that he was balking at the idea of having to eat dinner with his children. I was furious. Dh and I were both in complete disbelief.

I have just seen a couple of episodes of the wife switch shows and I thought they were funny, very unrealistic but funny. I watched Desperate Housewives and I am still undecided about that one. I love the actresses in it and I like the mystery that is going on but I guess it was just not what I expected. I am going to watch again this week and I hope I like it better. I am enjoying Lost though.

I really liked Desperate Housewives, and plan to keep watching it.

The wife swap type shows.... well, I don't like the idea of them, but, out of curiosity I have watched a few minutes of two episodes. I get the whole concept of putting women in two totally different worlds, but, I still have issues with the idea of swapping spouses as entertainment. Seems like a family values statement to me. Sorry, I'll get off my now.
