Movie Recommend / Reject
What movie have you seen either in a theatre or at home recently would you recommend as worth watching and which one would you say don't waste your money/time on?
I just watched (at home) The Day After Tomorrow and I really liked it. I sat through the whole thing and didn't fast forward through it. I thought the plot was predictable but I still really enjoyed it and the special effects were incredible.
As for the reject - I would have to say White Chicks. I made a mistake of getting the unrated version of the movie (won't ever do that again) and half way through had to send dd out of the room. We had planned on watching it together and it was funny up to a point, then it got to much sexual content in it for dd to be able to watch. I got the unrated version by mistake. I didn't even know there was such. I thought it was pg-13. Since dd couldn't see it, I ended up cutting it off before it was even through. Luckily it was my free movie.
Okay what's on your list?

We saw "Shark Tale" and it was GREAT!!!! Remember it is rated pg-13 so it isnt for little ones. I took taya-10 and makayla 4, taya liked it alot but it went over Makaylas head. Not scary at all or inappropiate, little ones just wont 'get it'
HATED!!!!!!! KillBill..I rolled over and went to sleep 5 minutes in..

Dh and I watched Shrek 2 the other night and really enjoyed it - - my favorite line was Gingie saying "It's a thong". I still snicker over it.

DS and I watched "Elf" the other night and we laughed ourselves silly.
The one I didn't like was "Something's Gotta Give" Jack Nicholson and Diane Keeton. What a dud, the only saving grace was the beautiful house the movie was set in. I forgot about what they were doing and just looked at things in the house.
