Thumbs up The 5 People you Meet in Heaven

I posted last year when I bought this book that I absolutly LOVED LOVED LOVED it and couldn't put it down. Well the movie is going to be on ABC next Sunday, Dec. 5 and I for one will be watching it and I may even have to tape it.

Did anyone else read it or is anyone else planning on watching it?

I tried to read it but couldn't get through it. It was interesting but it was right before the play and I had to learn my lines. I think I may try again this Christmas break.

If you have a media player and you haven't read the book, watch the clip of the preview.

I have never read this book or Tuesdays with Morrie. I want to read them both. I will be watching the movie though. The previews look really good. I will save reading the book until after the movie though because the book is almost always better than the movie......LOL! I'll be watchin it with ya!!!!!!

I loved the book and am looking forward to the movie.
In fact I plan to Tivo it for the future.
I hope it stands up to the book.

Another good book that is similar is called "Within Heaven's Gates" by Rebecca Springer. Publisher: Whitaker House
    Short, quick read.
Everytime I read it, I find something different to think about.

Me too. It was so good, in fact, that I don't think I want to watch the movie--I don't think I can remember any book-turned-movie that came out nearly as good as the book.

I taped it, but Joe wanted to watch The Grinch on ABC Family since he fell asleep during the ABC viewing on Thanksgiving. I saw the last little bit but I will probably watch the whole thing tomorrow or Wed. night when Joe is at work
