    Default Lemony Snickett ??

    Does anyone read these - they are the rival/answer to Harry Potter I guess. The first movie is coming out at Christmas starring Jim Carrey - it looks pretty good from the trailers. We won't see it til the rental is available though!!   (But what I really want to see is the new Blade movie anyway!!!  I like Vampire movies!! - especially the Blade series!!)

    My DS#1 loves these! He's read all of them. He can hardly wait for the new books as they come out.

    They are very, very popular at my work (the library).

    I hated these books. I tried to read the first one but just couldn't; it was too sad. I don't know if we will see the movie or not.

    The first time I heard of them was seeing the trailer for the movie on TV. None of my kids seem to have heard of them either.

    Will have to investigate further.
