REVIEW MOVIE - Garfield
Okay I had a very weak moment yesterday and decided to rent Garfield for the kids to watch. They've had a pretty traumatic week with their daddy having surgery.
This is the Stupidest I have ever seen. Even the kids were disgusted with it. The acting was horrible, it made no sense whatsoever and even the talking of the animals was dumb.
Don't waste your money on purchasing or renting this movie. I would even get it at the libary.
On a score of 1 to 10 (10 being highest) I'd give it a minus 50!!!!!

I think it's a horrible movie for older children and adults. My kids LOVED it though. It was one of our best family movies we've shared. I can't say I enjoyed the movie itself all that much, but the time we all spent together was great.
It really doesn't have anything of substance, but my kids laughed and laughed and were glued to watching it. They rarely can sit through an entire movie.
We've rented a ton of movies and purchased many too. I couldn't even get them to sit through half an hour of any of the holiday movies I've taped, so when they both sat quietly watching Garfield, laughing, and munching popcorn, I gave it a huge thumbs up.
I can definitely see it as being a big waste for adults and older children though. There's not much quality acting or substance. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I thought Garfield reminded me of our cat when he put Odie outside because he was jealous. That would be something Socks would do if he could....lol!
The boys liked the movie. I really don't think it was a child oriented movie.~*Michelle*~
