Weird wonkie weather

Anyone else having strange weather? We are. Yesterday was 65, it;s already 60 right now, it was around that on Wednesday too!! That's unseasonably warm for Colorado in January. I had the sliding glass door open for air and the front screen door wide open for circulation. We weren't hot, but we were in need of airing out. I know this good weather means we are gonna get slammed soon. But i tell ya it is nice to enjoy while we have it. It's confusing my lilac bush though, it has signs of budding on it.

Yepper- it was 70º here in Bennett yesterday - broke a record high. I have bulbs sprouting out of the ground. So we'll probably have another gnarley winter storm like we did in March two years ago - Remember that mammer jammer??

Our weather has been strange as well. The temps here dropped 20 degrees from one days high to the next days high. Right now we are getting snow with freezing rain forecasted for tomorrow and then snow for Sunday. Right before all this started the weather here was way warmer than was normal for this area.

63 here now and they are calling for the same tomarrow with maybe a little rain. Sunday however, high temp will be 35 and low will be 25.

I here ya gals! Last week we were below zero and today we will hit 50 easily! I've got clothes hanging on the line and the kids have been outside in shorts and short sleeved shirts. My roses are blooming. I'm so afraid we are going to get a hard frost again and it will kill my cherry tree blossoms.
