Oooh can't wait. I hope I can find the book in a book store. Thanks for giving us a couple months notice so we could. Maybe by then the library will have it as well.

No sign of this one in my library, I can't get the February's or March one either! Can't really afford to buy them so looks like I'm missing out for a while.

I purchased Feb. and March but I'm hoping that this one is in the library. Sounds like a good book and I hope I can participate (the budget is a bit broke right now)

Tim Covell has also sponsored one copy of his book to be given to a FV member.

I've ordered this one from Amazon. Should be here in a few days. They have a special with free shipping on orders $25 and up. With this book and the May book, I got the free shipping.

I'm going to see if I can find this book. I love this guy's philosophy on rational simplicity. Here is the intro to his book.

I ordered this months and May's from Amazon, but looks like it won't get here until the very end of the month.

Don't worry Brinda. The book is small and the chat is open to everyone whether they have read it or not. Sara usually posts the discussion a few days later - so there is plenty of time. I'm happy that you are reading these with us.

I think he offers some good points, but I think that he could've focused more on how to simplify your life from what you have now, rather than on how to save for the future. The only ways he showed to simplify now were the house and car issue. He explained how to save now to prepare to live simply in the future. It's not quite what I expected it to be.

To me this book was okay, but not nearly as great as last month's book. I too think his points are valid ones but just aren't what I'm looking for right now. I will hold on to the book as it may apply more to me at a later time. I think it's important to prepare for our future but I'm at the point of needing help surviving in the here and now first.
