Is this awful flu bug going around where you live?
Everyone and their brother here has it... they get terrible stomach cramps, fever, and sleep a lot.... then after about 48 hours they're fine again. DH had it- he called in sick for the second time in almost six years on the job. DD and I haven't caught it, but, I am the infection control police around my house so maybe I got all the "cooties" before we caught it from him.

It's going around here too, but our family all has strong immune systems, so I am not worried. I just feel bad for the people who are suffering from it.

DD and DH have both had something -- a terrible cough, fever, and feeling awful. DD missed two days of school and DH one day of work. DD also got vomiting with hers. I've been preaching "Wash your hands" all winter (and my hands lool like it -- LOL!) and stuffing vitamins in them, but hopefully DS and I will not succumb to this junk!

Dh got it and was sick the whole time we were in Chicago for his uncle's funeral, he missed class yesterday and they sent him home when he tried going to class today.
Stomach cramps, fever, vomiting and general sleepiness, he also had brain fog, we got lost repeatedly there and on the way home.

It is going around here too, but our family has been lucky so far. None of us have caught it. Thank goodness!

It's been really bad here in East TN. School districts are closed, large co. are hiring PT/Temp help because so many employees are out. I'm just glad I didn't get while pregnant. In fact, Paiges new Dr. told us not to really take her out until mid March or the first of April since the flu is so bad around here and they are also treating a lot of cases of RSV right now as well.

We have all been "under the weather" here since Sunday night. Molly and I went to an indoor event with lots of people in attendance on Saturday. I think we caught the "bug" while there.

Yep, its hitting here too. Ds had a touch of it over the weekend. Dd has had sinus stuff at the same time, but luckily no tummy trouble. YET
Its going around here badly though. One of the elementary schools had 20 teachers out last week!

My youngest ds (age 17) was sick almost two weeks ago. Luckily, it was a four day weekend from school, so he didn't miss any school.
Dh started getting sick last Thursday and still doesn't feel well. He hasn't missed work, but he is just too darn stubborn to stay home. I'm sure his co-workers really appreciate him coming to work sick.

I had it at the beginning of this week. It was horrible!!!! I didn't make it down the stairs for 24 hours. Glad I don't get sick very often.
