I haven't seen shabby chic, but I have seen Sensible Chic on HGTV.

I like this show. It shows a designer room done for big money and then the designers recreate the room for way less.

I love shabby chic! I actually have the style books(a christmas gift). The things Rachel Ashwell sells are very expensive and sometimes a little too girlie for me, but it is a style that is really livable and easy to do yourself. Occasionally you can catch the show on E! if you don't get Style, I have not seen a new episode in a really long time so I'm not sure if they are making new ones.

Yeah her stuff is expensive but you can gain alot from her show and make your home in a shabbychic style and you can do your home a whole lot cheaper than she sells her stuff !! You can go to yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, auctions, tag sales, church rumage sales, Thrift Stores, Consignment Shops, and many other places to make your home pretty and nice in the Shabby Chic Style if you like that style!!
Which I do like the Shabby Chic Style but I love Country Style The Most So my Home is going to Be all Country Style with a Little Bit of Shabby Chic added in every room!!

I'm not a fan of the pinks and light blues and greens she uses, but I have picked up some of her ideas in my formal china and some antique tea sets I have.
