If I were a citizen of Buffalo, I would want to know where the money *was* being spent.

    Gross.

My nursing home has bought some really cheap stuff that makes you wish you'd brought you own, but, we'd never do without!

    Thats sad.

There was talk here last year about the schools wanting children to bring toilet paper. We already send soap, pretty sad to think the school can't even supply toilet paper

They also want parents of kids that ride the school buses to pay gas money every year! I bout fell over when I heard this! The day I have to pay for gas money,I'll take my own kids!!!

    Sorry that was off subject.

That's nuts. I'd be wanting to know where all the money was going to as well.

    That is downright sad!

Tammy, if I had to pay for gas to have my kids taken to school, I'd be doing the driving too!

My DMom used to be a bookkeeper for a family business. One of the family members was an extreme skinflint. He wasn't just frugal, he was obnoxious. One day he told my DMom she was using to much toilette paper. Even though she had worked there for 25 years she almost quit. My DMom, who has never raised her voice to me, was so livid over that she could have spit.
