I chose the second category. The county seat has about 1500 people. I live about 10 miles from the 'city',lol.

Guess I'm a "big city" gal -- we have almost 10,000 here in the town where our mail goes and where we bank -- although we do not live in town.

Wow--I am a dazzling urbanite in comparison! We live in a town that is just shy of 20,000.

My small town has about 2000, but I am practically part of the big city ........275,000........it's less than 10 minutes away & not long distance to call.

Maybe 1,500. The town immediately to our west (which I can be in in less than 5 minutes) has about 95,000 people and the town to our immediate north (which I can be in in about 10 minutes) has about 80,000 people.

Census states that Scottville (the closest town to me) has 120 people, but I think they counted the horses, cause I can't name 120 people in the town.

I live about 3 miles out of town.

Wow, that poll really surprised me for some reason. I had no idea that most people were from really small towns! Nebraska is not known for its large cities, but I do live in one of the bigger ones. There are about 30,000 here. *feeling very urban now* LOL

when i moved here in 1991 population was under 2000. Once Forbes deamed this the largest growing "town" (it is a city now), it kept growing and growing, it's now almost to 50000. I still think its so small.
