Just when you think winter is over
The weather channel said that we could see a few flakes of snow this AM starting around 3 and going until 9 AM or so. When I got up at 4 with Paige it didn't look like it was doing anything out side and the weather channel said it was just cloudy, by the time she was changed and feed and ready to lay back down (a little after 5) the forecast had changed to light snow at the airport (about 8 miles away). Not sure what time it started here as I feel asleep on the sofa until 6:30 when Joe got up to get ready, but it's been snowing pretty big flakes off and on since then and by the time he left the cars, roofs and porches were covered. Oh well, so much for the garden
Although I did cover the corn with a sheet and mom gave me some pots to place over the tomato's so hopefully all isn't lost (then again the seeds were only $1.98 so no big loss.)

No snow here but really cold. Where did spring go???
Make sure you keep the pictures for Paige. One day she might get a good laugh at seeing her first Spring covered in snow.

ICK! Kat please do not send it north!
Although it is cold here today. Only 35º right now, the forecast is calling for a rain/snow mix through tomorrow.

Wow and I think we have it bad. I know Heather got dumped on big time and they are predicting snow here for Wed. or Thurs. and cold temps.

Spring....hell it was SUMMER here already!!
We've got snow on the cars and ground as well. Just last weekend we were mt biking and I was SWEATING. That same area they showed on the news has ever MORE snow than us. Ughhh....some kind of conspiracy theory I know it!

For the most part all the snow on the ground is gone. However it's still on the cars (around the windshield wipers) and it's still blowing around in the wind.
Also, it almost (notice I said almost) feels warmer now then it did yesterday when it was just raining) although it is very windy. But on the bright side, there is a bed of purple Iris's in the corner of the yard that started blooming last week and they are still there
