I'm glad she's "ok", but I think she should be prosecuted. I bet her parents aged 20 years over the last few days. Not to mention what she put her fiance through. People were so quick to judge him and accuse him of having something to do with her disappearence.

I am glad she was found and that she was ok, but I think she could have at least called her family to tell them something, anything!! You know she had to see them distraught over her disappearance on the news. Sounds like she has alot of issues to deal with.

Joe and I were talking about her Wed. when it was all over the news. When the reports said they took the computers and were going to give her fiance' a polygraph Joe said, did they ever think that she was the one who was having second thoughts.

The main thing is she is okey, but I feel sorry for her and for the pain she put her friends, family, finace' and her town thru.

It sounds to me like she has a whole bunch of issues. Its one thing to get cold feet, its another to skip town and wind up states away when you run out of $$$. Its not like she had a plan -- and to scare her parents and her fiance like that?? Sick. I hope her fiance thinks twice about marrying her now for sure. And I agree, she should be prosecuted. Think of all the $$$ spent on this case.

I don't agree with what she did or how she handled her nerves over her upcoming wedding but I was watching the new late last night and they were talking to DA's, ADA'a and other Lawyers and there is nothing that the state of GA or Duluth can charge her with. They said the only thing she could be charged with is filing a false police report in NM because nothing she did (besides that) was against the law. They said it's not against the law to leave home with out telling anyone you are going, or where your going or to cut your hair off and change your appearence and board a bus out of town.

I can't believe he is taking her back!!! I do hope they charge her with filing a false police report. They wasted thousand of dollars looking for her. I hope she has to pay that back as well. If you don't want to marry someone then don't but to call and say you were kidnapped is wrong. There were probably real crimes being committed at the same time police were wasting their time looking for her.

I've heard that she didn't know there would be such a big deal about her dissapearing like that. Hello?! Where was she when Laci Peterson dissapeared after jogging...the trial...the conviction.
What the he** did she think was going to happen? Her fiance is a wack job imho for actually planning to still marry her. How could you trust someone who would completely flake out and leave you to be treated like you killed her or something. I don't care if she was stressed. She cost people time money anguish & heartache. Other missing persons cases don't get the coverage that she did...those other families with ongoing emptyness & pain...What she did goes far beyond just ducking out of a wedding it makes people question the validity of future missing persons cases.
Another thing that bothers me is that she hasn't given a statement because she is "not ready" & is "taking time" well too bad so sad. If she isn't going to be charged with something that is nuts. She knew what she was doing and didn't give a damn.
I'm a compassionate person but have little or none for grown adults who purposly lie, decieve & hurt others and cry poor me.
    grrrr
