Default Looking for "chick flick" recommendations

My dh is going to a bachelor party all weekend (don't get me started!), so I thought I'd watch some movies that he refuses to watch with me.

Your recommendations can be for older movies or current ones. So far I am planning to watch Beaches ('89), so I'd prefer not to get many more tearjerkers.

    Thanks!

    Chelle

No tear jerkers there goes my favorite Titanic (even Rick cried watching this one)
How about "Where the Heart is" did you read that book?
Or one of my all time favorites "When Harry Meet Sally"

I am drawing a blank, if I can think of anything else I will let you know.

    Thelma and Louise
    Pretty Woman
Steel Magnolias (kind of a tear-jerker, but also many other good qualities)
    Dirty Dancing

Hmmm...all I can think of right now. I'll try to get back to ya.

I have to second Steel Magnolias (though it's a tear-jerker).

Footloose is a fun 80's movie to watch.
