Are you ready for changes in technology?

Will you buy a hdtv? How about a dvd player if you don't already have one? How often do you buy a new computer? Do you care to keep up with technology?

This article shows that some stores are already phasing out vhs tapes in favor of dvd's.
In our family we have bought a couple of dvd's, but we aren't much for buying vhs tapes or dvd's. We rent/borrow and return more often.
We do own a dvd player. It's a cheapie model and nothing fancy at all. We still rent vhs tapes equally as much as dvd's.
Gabe has been considering hdtv for awhile now, but I feel it's way too expensive at this point and want to wait for as long as possible before taking the plunge. We do upgrade our computers often though.

We have upgraded our puters fairly often but I'm thinking it's gonna be awhile now before we do, since the models get faster so much quicker now. We have a dvd player and I still MUCH prefer VHS. I don't know yet about hdtv...we probably will have it sooner or later, but I don't care right now......!

I just recently bought a DVD player for dh for his birthday.Got it at wal-mart for $68!! We have bought 1DVD the other was a present from his mom.WE rent them from the library and borrow from friends.I think after a while the only vhs tapes will be for kids videos.
