Has anyone read The Shunning?
By Beverly Lewis? This is the first book of hers that I've read, and I am really enjoying it.

I also borrowed "The Covenant". I'm sure I'll be starting that one soon as "The Shunning" seems to be a quick read.

I'm ready for the 5th book in that series. I agree with you- they're pretty quick reads, and hard to put down.
I LOVE her books. I read the series (2 books) that starts with The Postcard, and it was really good, too.

Michelle, just make sure you read them in order. Her website is
www.beverlylewis.com
Her series Abram's Daughters is even better.
I found each of her books is better than the laste. She is an outstanding author and one who can get my dander up over characters in the books. She is the only one who has been able to do that.
btw- she has a cookbook out too. The recipes are the BEST!!

Oh cool! I didn't know about her cookbook. I'll have to look for that

I went to her website last week, and made sure that I got them in order
(at least I *thought* I was--maybe I better double check!)
I really, really like this book!

I really enjoyed that book too. Everything of hers is good quality imo.

I just finished this last night. It was really, really good. I'm trying to decide if I'll get the next in that series or start The Covenant (which I already have here).
