War of the Worlds?
Did anyone see this movie? What did you think?
Mike wanted to go see it, so I caved in and went. I didn't want to go because lately I'm sick and tired of Tom Cruise! The movie was good, special effects were tremendous and the movie kept me interested--usually I fall asleep! Plus, I love Dakota Fanning, I thought she was fabulous
The best part was we had movie passes so it didn't cost us a dime!!

I liked it too, but with all the action and things that were going on, it ended quite abruptly, I wasn't prepared for it.

I thought the same thing. The ending was disappointing. It happened too suddenly.

The ending was my biggest complaint, I told Mike I didn't like it--but he just rolled his eyes at me!!!

The ending is just like the book. I thought it was perfect.
I loved it. My only complaint was Dakota Fanning. Ugh. How annoying. If I wanted to listen to kids screaming for 2 hours, I could have gone to McDonalds.
There were NO KIDS in the book. I have no clue why they felt they had to add them in. It would have been better without them.

I loved it, too, and I am not a Tom Cruise fan. I thought Dakota Fanning stole the show --- she is fabulous! My son, however, thought she screamed too much, and my husband didn't like the changes made to the story line. But all in all, I thought it was terrific.
