Is your dh/so a reader
If dh isn't in his workshop scroll sawing, he is in the house reading. He is an avid reader and many times were running to the library just to get him more books.
Does your dh/so read much?

My dh likes to read but he's a slow reader, especially when he compares himself to me. But he's gotten better and he always has 1-2 books going. He doesn't love reading like I do but he's definitely "a reader".

My DH reads way more than me. I am always jealous on much he reads. He reads on a variety of topics as well (more topics than myself).
I read as well, but not as much. I average a book or two a month, he averages a book or two a week. He is frequently at the library as well, so we rarely buy books. We often get a good book or more from people's recycling bins around the city. We've gotten some neat history books that way.

Mine is a HUGE reader...and he's fast too.. He likes big chunky books like Count of Monte Cristo and Tom Clancy novels. But we both love to read. Unfortunately, neither of the kids picked up our love of reading.

Dh loves to read, but hasn't had time to lately. He really enjoys military fiction.

My SO is a definitely a reader. I'm always amazed at how much he knows! He loves to learn. He reads non-fiction and fiction as well. I preordered Harry Potter, but he's reading it first, and 3/4 of the way through now. He'll sit and read for hours, like me =)
We also get him audio books from the library so that he can listen to them while he's working. He'll go through 3 or 4 of these per week, and the library is running out of the ones he likes! Guess it's time to go to a different library =P
When I first met him, he had 2 short/wide bookshelves that we all full, plus a huge tower of books on top of one of them. He has books in foreign languages, books on foreign languages, biographies, fiction, crafting books, electronics, computers, literature, etc etc etc. I LOVE that aspect of him (well, ok, I love mostly everything else about him too, though

He's too busy/tired usually and only reads magazines when in bed.
He falls asleep in 1-2 min so it would take him forever to get a book read.
He'll be reading his little heart out when he retires in a couple years. He does read a book or 2 when on vacation though.

Goodi2shooz, first your avatar is so cute. My dh has just gotten into Tom Clancy books. He's on his 7th one now and really likes him as an author.

We are both big time readers. We formed a bookclub with just the two of us for a bit to read and discuss books we might not do so otherwise. There are always several books in the car, in our bags we carry to work, and in both bathrooms. We have had LOTS of fun nights popping popcorn and sitting in the house with some classical music on, sitting next to each other reading.
When we first started dating, he spent a LOT Of time raiding my bookshelves. I was forever calling him going "do you have x book" "uh...yeah." "OK, just wondered, I was reading it." LOL. Plus, he has a tattoo on his back from one of his favorite books (Lawhead's The Paradise War series) that he got years before me, and when he was at my place one day, he saw that I had the whole series in hardback and almost fainted because he hadn't even met anyone else who had HEARD of that series before.
I knew I loved him when he would sit around for hours and read Latin poetry to me (in Latin, of course). I get the butterflies just thinking about it.
Books helped draw us together, and a nice evening out is still going to a bookstore and having some coffee sitting around reading.

No, dh rarely reads, except the Bible and in preparing the Sunday School lesson for his class. I don't think he's read more than a half dozen books since we've been married- 28 years ago.

Nope. My hubby isn't a reader. He only reads what he needs to, but not for fun.

Alas my DH is not a reader. I, however, am avid. He is puzzled by my love of reading, but he doesn't question it either...he sees me sitting with a book and doesn't make snide comments.
I do get a little irked, however, when he sits in front of the TV for hours at a time, which seems to me such a waste
BUT, he is the BEST card picker-outer EVER. He's got the best eye for what means something between us. I do have to pick at him to get to the store, though
Marriage is certainly alot of compromise, eh??
