Bourne Identity *spoiler*
I like Matt Damon and I enjoyed this movie. It has an overall dullness to it, but it's not boring. There are parts that made me jump and the plot was interesting enough to keep my attention.
The ending was a bit disappointing to me, but not surprising.
The movie is based on a trilogy of books. (hmmmm)
I think what makes this movie a bit lacking is the fact that it has an 80's feel to it, but was updated to be more modern, so you are aware of something lacking. This doesn't make the movie lose much impact, but it is something you may notice. The movie has good action. An ok rental, but not worthy of a theater visit for me.

I just saw this last night. I agree about the overall ho hum-ness to it. I was so hoping that he wouldn't get back together with the girl and that they wouldn't have had a romantic thing. That would have impressed me greatly if they hadn't done that.
The ending was definitely rushed. I was left with a "huh? that's it?" feeling.
All of that said, I will be renting "The Bourne Supremacy" when it comes to DVD.

I agree with you and Sara Chelle. It was a 'dull' movie and yet it had action to it. Strange. I can't wait to see the sequel either.Originally posted by Michelle
