Default Being a misplanted Maine girl...

I had to say," Well ...DUH" when I saw this article anout lobster rolls.

    http://money.cnn.com/2005/08/11/pf/g...ex.htm?cnn=yes

Would you believe the Mc Donald's even sells lobster rolls seasonally in my home town?? I have been to "Red's" in the article, and though I can't eat shellfish, they are a great place to go for a lunch. It's kind of a tradition to go there during day trips around the state.

    ah... a bit homesick

I've always wanted to visit Maine. Maybe when we eventually make our way there I will remember to try our the lobsters.

I laughed out loud when I saw 'lobster rolls' on McD's marquee.

Here in the Southwest, you can get 'green chili burgers' at McD's.

Are there any other local variations?
